Octopi on a raspberry pi 4b runs a 3D printer like a champ. I imagine that a CNC would work similarly well.

I open the program in text editor, go to the line it was aborted on then search up the document for the last rapid move before the aborted linethen I delete everything inbetween the header and G0. I’ll usually add a G0 and an X/Y positioning move and then save it with a new file name.
